Industrial Electrician - Workshop Based

Industrial Installation Electrician
Metcraft Group Ltd are looking for skilled, experienced hard working and talented industrial electricians for their electrical installations in their manufacturing facility
You will need to be experienced in the installation of metal containment and support systems using uni-strut, ladder, trunking, conduit and wiring various types of cabling.
Previous Experience (required)
- Installation of metal containment (cable tray, ladder rack, trunking & conduit) and support systems (uni-strut & fixings)
- Experience in pulling & dressing SWA cables
- Experience in glanding of various size armored cables
Previous Experience (desirable)
Experience with cable pulling, making off various size armored glands, dressing in & jointing of armored cabling.
General Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years fully qualified experience in commercial/industrial electrical installation
- Full UK driving license (clean license preferred)
- Good grasp of the English language (reading & writing)
- Good numerate & reading skills
- Good with heights & confined spaces
- Must have a good pro-active attitude
- Be able to work out of hours & at weekends on occasions
Yard Operative
Metcraft are a mild steel tank manufacturing company and are looking for a reliable, hard-working and organised Yard Operative to work in their factory in Aylesford, Kent
Duties
- Loading/Unloading of materials from vehicles using Forklift, you must have experience of using a Forklift truck.
- General Maintenance and cleaning of company vehicles and premise including workshop floor space.
- Organisation and tidiness of yard.
- Ensure all daily checks are completed on forklift and plant in yard area.
- Report defects/problems to line management to ensure safety of all staff.
- Other tasks to assist with the day to day running of the business.
