Last week we shared these two double skin tanks, showing the journey from initial design drawings through to manufacture and dispatch.
This week, we’re taking a closer look at the equipment behind the finished product.
Both tanks were supplied complete with an OLE C2020 digital tank contents gauge and 3-level alarm system, housed within the integrated cabinet.
The OLE C2020 uses a digital hydrostatic probe installed within the tank to report fuel levels back to the gauge, providing clear and accurate fuel level monitoring.
The 3-level alarm system uses a series of float switches positioned within the tank to monitor key points, including:
• Low level
• High level
• Bund alarm
Providing important alerts during operation and assisting during the filling process.
With all components pre-wired before leaving Metcraft, these tanks were delivered as a complete plug-and-play solution, reducing installation time on site and making commissioning as straightforward as possible. ⚡
Another example of how our tanks are built around our customers’ requirements — from fabrication through to final controls.
